kristie64063 Posted June 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2014 Quick questions .. Does any OBC earned from price drops cover anything you can purchase on board? e.g., Spa, casino, drinks, shops, etc. Is there anything specifically that it doesn't cover? Thanks!! :D

Rica6 Posted June 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2014 You can even use your OBC to pay for gratuities, which is AWESOME!!! We plan on doing this for our cruise in august on the sunshine. We don't prepay our gratuities but always bring cash to cover this additional cost and pay it on our second day on board. This time we have enough OBC to cover gratuities for all 5 in our family PLUS extra cash for whatever we want to spend it on. Can't wait !!!!!!!!! waynedog Posted June 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2014 We have a large on board credit on an upcoming cruise. Can we get cash at the casino and have the charge applied to our room and then use the on board credit to pay for it?

Can we get cash at the casino and have the charge applied to our room and then use the on board credit to pay for it? Do you mean you want to cash out your OBC during your cruise so you can spend at ports? If so, there are many posts mentioned how you can cash out at casino from your OBC. I have not done this so I can't comment. However, if you mean you want to get the cash at the end of your cruise for any unused OBC, the answer is if the OBC is refundable, they will give you a refund at the Guest Services Desk. My family and I just came back from our cruise. The night before the debarkation day, I came to the Guest Services Desk to close out my account, and Carnival gave us cash for all unused (refundable) OBC. kriscruise Posted June 16, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2014 You can use those guest services machines and get cash for any on board credit you have. I had a ton of credit last year that I ended up taking most of it out in cash. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

I just submitted requests for four of our five cabins. The difference is like $700 per cabin! Edited June 17, 2014 by SeeJennyCruise
