Carry on wine

Like some other cruise lines, does AQSC allow carryon of limited quantities of wine for use in our stateroom?

We just returned from the American Empress. We experienced no restrictions about bringing wine on board, and in fact took a bottle into the dining room a couple of times. No restrictions there either, and no corkage fee. After all, we saved them money by not drinking the "included" wine at dinner. Of course, we did not buy from the "premium" wine list either.

Fantastic, thanks Jim. From what Im seeing we could pick up a bottle at each stop as we go up and down the river. We enjoy a glass on the veranda in the afternoon.

Do you have one of the cabins with the private veranda?

If not you will be sitting on the deck with others passing by ;)

they may want to share your wine :D

 

Not sure where you are going but we found not much on our stops in middle America the big box stores have killed the towns on the river IMO

but it was enjoyable just cruising on the river

We did a cruise in Aug last year so can not comment on festive or not

We did not realize breakfast in the dining room also had a buffet section as well as the menu so we just went upstairs ...next time we will do the dining room for breakfast ...more options;)

Just enjoy sitting on the rocking chairs & watch the river
