Rare mitsugirly Posted July 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2014 Yes, the beach chairs under the palapas are free and first come first serve. As for the menu, we had a great mixed platter with a little bit of everything on it for like $12. There was a lot and it was filling. This was ordered from our server (that runs up and down the beach taking orders). Our oldest daughter ordered a burrito over by the dolphin swim area and she paid (I think) it was $10 just for that. She felt ripped off. :p I have 2 reviews in my signature line if you are interested in seeing the place. There are tons of pictures. The snorkeling there is awesome. wantocruisemore Posted July 2, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 2, 2014 The food is really reasonable, in the $10-15 range. I have shared dishes with my DH because it was just too much food to eat alone. I think the price was around $12.

Rare Morgsmom Posted July 13, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 13, 2014 If you do the Dolphin Encounter with them (DIRECLTY, not through the ship) it includes a Buffet lunch. We booked the dolphin swim directly - it was buy 1 get one free, AND we got free lunch!

If you look at my reviews in my signature line, I have photos of the snorkeling area. My 3 year old did it the two times we were there with me holding her hand and her holding the handrail. :)

Rare S.A.M.J.R. Posted July 14, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 14, 2014 (edited) Holy busy snorkeling area! That was from June 2013. We were on Oasis and there was at least one (maybe two) Carnival boats docked also. We were there three weeks ago on Freedom and we were the only ship. Chankanaab was very empty! Tip_the_clown Posted July 17, 2014 #16 Share Posted July 17, 2014 I believe there is a zip line section in the park call Xtreme. Does it cost extra? How much?
Rare S.A.M.J.R. Posted July 17, 2014 #17 Share Posted July 17, 2014 I believe there is a zip line section in the park call Xtreme. Does it cost extra? How much? Yes it costs extra. I'm pretty sure the price was $60pp, but that covered 5 "lines" and two suspension bridges. There are additional lines for additional cost, but I didn't ask about that. They have zip lining there now? I didn't realize that and you are the first that has posted about it (that I have read on here) and that's so cool. I did read that they had some kind of alligator adventure now where you walk across a bridge or something above the alligators? But I'm not really sure what that's all about.
Tip_the_clown Posted July 17, 2014 #19 Share Posted July 17, 2014 Thanks S.A.M.J.R. for the price. Mitsugirly the bridge goes over the alligator area. I am torn between Mr. Sanchez or Chaankaaab Park. Both got something for me with the All Inclusive. Your blog has help me narrow it to these two Mitsugily.
