Clarea Posted July 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2014 (edited) Check out Travelynx, Cocoa Beach Shuttle, and Executive VIP Limo. Edited July 3, 2014 by clarea
TRAVELCRUZIN Posted July 3, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted July 3, 2014 Any idea which is better. Cocoa Beach Shuttle has the best prices but I don't see much about them on here.
JohninDC Posted July 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2014 CB shuttle is the most often suggested shared transportation provider on these boards. Executive VIP provides a different mix of services, primarily to those who prefer private/group transport instead of a shared shuttle. The trip takes about 45-50 minutes and fares start at about $25+ per person each way. Since you are coming in a day early you shoudl also look at a one-way car rental (MCO to PC/Cocoa Beach); most of the major agencies are located there and offer free shuttles to Port Canaveral. A car (now our preferred option) gives you some flex on dining and shopping. If your return flight leaves about noon-1:00 from MCO you likely do not have time to rent a car (shuttle, paperwork, drive, gas, turn-in) to get back to MCO. A rental makes more sense if you have a late afternoon or evening flght home. Good luck! :)
hoss23 Posted July 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2014 We have a reservation at the Raddison for this september, and we booked with Port Canaveral cruise shuttle for 70.00 round trip for me and my wife. We are staying at the Raddison the day before the cruise. I dont know if they will drop us off at the hotel or not, but even with a short cab ride from the port, it is much cheaper then all the others I looked at. hoss23 Posted July 3, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 3, 2014 Just went to their website portcanaveralcruiseshuttles.com and on their homepage they are running a banner special for the 70.00 for 2 round trip I mentioned above.

A rental makes more sense if you have a late afternoon or evening flght home. Good luck! :) We always try to get flights out earlier in the day and always rent a car. It's about 45-50 minutes to the airport, and we do either walk off or one of the earlier tags, get the car, head to the airport, fill up and turn it in. We are then sitting in the airport for 1.5 -2 hours. You don't need a late afternoon flight to rent a car to the airport.

loanshark Posted July 3, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 3, 2014 I would also check to see what it would cost for one-way car rentals MCO-Cape Canaveral and vice-versa. Budget is within walking distance to the Radisson. If you decide to do the car rental option, most of the car rental companies offer shuttle service to/from the ship and the car rental lots. 70054609 Posted July 5, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Have rented a car for transport from Orlando in to hotel in coco beach. Staying at the comfort inn and suites, can anyone tell me if alamo car rental office is close to this hotel? And is there a petrol station near to fill up the car. Thanks

Thanks The Alamo office is a couple of miles north of the hotel, on Atlantic Ave, the main north/south street. You will pass several gas stations driving from the hotel to the rental office. Rare John&LaLa Posted July 13, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 13, 2014 Budget is good, usually $30-$35, counter wait at MCO can be long though. I have never used their shuttle. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app
