Upper/lower berth cabins

If you have ever stayed in an upper/lower berth cabin, please let me know what it was like. Is it suited for just one or could an adult and child survive in it?

We just did one it was a twin bed with a sofa bed one adult and one child we had a port hole I wouldn't hesitate to book this type of cabin again.We use our cabin to sleep and shower it serves the purpose well!

Those cabins are best suited for a solo cruiser, but having said that, I don't think there would be a problem with an adult and a child staying in a 1A cabin. In fact, I'd bet that the child would LOVE that type of cabin, and getting to sleep in the upper bed. ;) I find the upper/lower cabins very comfortable. ;)

Because of the bunk, they have a little more floor space.

You and a child will be quite happy with it. :)

We did it as my wife, son, and I. Had a king (two bottoms pushed together) and an upper bunk for my son. Not a problem at all.

On the Splendor me and my 19 year old son stayed in a cabin that only had 1 lower and 1 upper. It was fine. Very little floor space but we used it only for sleeping.
