bigfoot88 Posted July 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2014 So, I have been golfing for 5 years, when I go out it is called "LOT Golf", Lack of Talent Golf. Can those of you who have golfed Bermuda, can you rate the courses form easiest to hardest? (I am hearing Ocean View is the best for starters)
sebas030 Posted July 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Hi, I, once in my life long time ago, played about 12 games per summer. I didn't play for 4 years and then I went to Bermuda...I just HAD to play a round. Due to the lack of time during our 3 days in port, we opted to play a quick 9 holes at Ocean View. 9 holes, 35 par. A few holes right on the ocean :D I played a very decent round of golf....so YES it is an easy course. Here is the link : http://oceanviewgolfbermuda.com/bermuda-golf-course.html Have fun ! jonsmom Posted July 9, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2014 How long did it take you to get from Dockyard to Ocean View? Bus or taxi?
sebas030 Posted July 9, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2014 How long did it take you to get from Dockyard to Ocean View? Bus or taxi? Well we took a private taxi tour and we asked to be dropped off at the Crystal Caves. We visited that, went to the Swizzle inn, took a taxi to the golf course and the taxi continued with our GF to Hamilton for some shopping while we were golfing. We then took a taxi to Hamilton, meet with the ladies, had dinner and enjoyed Harbour Nights...it was a busy day...but a great day :) Sent from my iPhone using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app

sebas030 Posted July 9, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 9, 2014 Well we were 4, so we had each 3 clubs and.....kidding ;) The pro was very accommodating with the rental. We had a fix price for 2 start, a cart, 2 sets of clubs, and 2 buckets of balls for the driving range before we started the course. daddy_bunce Posted July 11, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 11, 2014 My recommendation would be the Port Royal Golf course http://www.portroyalgolf.bm/ . Even if it is more difficult than you are comfortable playing where are you going to have the opportunity to play on a course where one of the four PGA grand Slam events are held? Brandygirl14 Posted July 13, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 13, 2014 Turtle Hill Golf Club at the Fairmont Southampton is very nice. I am an LOT golfer also. It is an 18 hole par 3 course with some nice views. My husband, who is a good golfer, enjoyed himself and so did I.
