Temps in St. Marteen & St. Thomas in Dec

I am going on a cruise out of Miami in December. I am from Houston so I can pretty much figure out temps in Miami. My question is, has anyone been to St. Marteen or St. Thomas at that time of year? What are the air and water temps like? I just don't know what type of clothes to bring! Is there a site to find average temps on these islands?

We were in st. Thomas at Christmas time and it was very hot and humid...

Couldn't see much difference than when we were there in July. The water temps were a little cooler but still nice..Went to Coki beach.

We spent two weeks there a couple of Christmas' ago and the weather was in the 80's and the water in the upper 70's.

We always go down there in December & January... It's the nicest time of year, but still quite warm (80's) & humid.
