Ken at the beach Posted July 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2014 You are allowed 2 x 750ml bottles of wine per stateroom.
Life is Good Cruising Posted July 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2014 It is also best to carry the two bottles on board as oppose to packing it in your checked luggage.
dancinman66 Posted July 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Two per but make them nice bottles And if you want to use them in dining rooms they will charge corkage So cabin use only is wise Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare theminnow Posted July 19, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2014 If you want to have the wine with dinner, just open the bottle in your room, pour a glass and take it to dinner with you. No corkage fee this way. Enjoy your cruise. Craig

Wheeling_family_of_3 Posted July 19, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 19, 2014 (edited) We brought two VERY nice bottles of wine with us. The first night they charged us corkage, but they fawned all over us, bringing special glasses and an elaborate uncorking. The second bottle, equally nice, they did the same thing but did not charge us corkage. The fee is $25 btw, which we expected and did not mind, for the service of serving it to us. Spurschick Posted July 19, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Just a word of advise but make sure you have something to open it. On our recent NOS cruise we won the meet and mingle bottle:) needless to say I didn't have a corkscrew so asked cabin steward and was told they had had all their corkscrews taken off them  luckily I managed to find someone kind enough to lend me theirs:D
peteukmcr Posted July 19, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Remember this is allowed only at your initial port of embarkation. If you bring any on board from a port of call they will hold it until the last night when it is returned to you before you disembark.
sandthrush Posted July 19, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 19, 2014 It is also best to carry the two bottles on board as oppose to packing it in your checked luggage. This is excellent advice, in fact, when we recently boarded the Enchantment in Port Canaveral, the porter taking our luggage asked us if there were any bottles of wine in our luggage. We were able to answer him honestly "no" because we always take ours in our carry-ons.
raytownlady Posted July 20, 2014 #11 Share Posted July 20, 2014 We always take ours in our carryon and have a small corkscrew that stays in DH's toiletry bag so we don't leave home without it.
