FTTF at tender port

Recommended Posts

I am sailing on the Victory and we will be tendering at Half Moon Cay. I did this before but we had a cabana. What is the real process? I"ve heard you have to go to a theater, you have to go to Guest services and they will escort you and I've heard that you just go down tell someone you are faster to the fun and you are put on.

Anyone who has actually done this and preferably on the Victory?

I was recently on the Splendor and had FTTF. The night before HMC, they put a letter in our stateroom telling us what times for the tender and where to meet. It was in a completely different room from the general population. As soon as a tender arrived (we waited about 7 minutes), the small group of us was escorted through the ship to the tender. So glad we bought FTTF.

Tendering at HMC is no problem. There is only one ship at a time and they have enough tenders to run continuously. No need for FTTF at HMC. Getting back can be a pain in the hot sun on the walkway to the tenders and everyone waits till the end to leave. FTTF does not help returning to the ship.

Actually passengers can wait for up to 2 hours to get on the tender if they do not have an excursion of faster to the fun. I'ts happened tom me and many others I know.

What ship were you in. Trying to decide about FTTF on Fascination.

We had FTTF on the Fascination for LSC, we went to guest services, they hold an elevator just for the FTTF folk, and we were told to wait a few minutes. They got us on the elevator, we rode down to 3 and we just walked by a huge line, and got on the tender.:)

It doesn't help you when you want to get back on the ship, but we went back a little early and had no wait at all. I have it for our next cruise on the Fascination which goes to HMC, but we have an early shore excursion, and that gets us on the first tender too.:)

We went to Guest Services and was escorted down to the tender line where they just cut through the line and walked us right to the front where we stood in a separate area. It was great, worth the money.

On our recent Pride cruise we went to guest services. We waited for a few mins in the atrium and were then escorted downstairs and to the front of the line. Worth it for us as we did not have to rush around earlier to get a number.

On Victory in December and we were told to meet at guest services and they took us down to the tender. FTTF was worth it just to get on that beautiful piece of land so quick and no hassle.
