KruzeKrazy! Posted July 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2014 We will be doing the 10-day Princess FP cruise plus 3 nights in a Moorea OWB and 2 "transition" nights im Papeete (one before, one after the cruise/OWB). We are researching independent excursions and want to reserve them ahead of time. We are looking for: - Quality experience - Not a large group - Not a "bus tour" - Not a "canned experience" feel - Super scenery - Relaxation - Don't think we'd want to do pearl or vanilla stops Since we'll have extra time on Moorea we're thinking do our Moorea activities then and relax on the ship. Or should we maximixe our OWB time and do an excursion from the ship? Any recommendations for excursions on the following islands that would align with the above objectives? - Huahine - Rangiora - Bora Bora - Raiatea - Moorea Thanks in advance for any thoughts, insights, and suggestions! canuck.qc Posted July 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Will do. Was looking for some summary thoughts versus doing tons of searching...[/quote We did a pre cruise at the IC Tahiti & Hilton Moorea: both excellent, get a breakfast package...food is costly. Moorea: do your activities during your stay rather than with hundreds of your fellow passengers on port day. Albert has a great ATV/Jetski tour Raiatea: Manava has an interesting tour Rangiroa: a trip to the blue lagoon Borabora: is beautiful when viewed from water, Moana has good tours including Jetski/snorkel. As mentioned in Tiki's suggestions, Raanui's excursion is small and intimate, I liked their clean private motu. Patrick has a good tour also. You can read reviews for these excursion on previous posts (use search option) & on TripAdv. Book your tours online in advance, they fill fast. Most do not ask for a deposit .
