seasearider59 Posted August 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2014 For as many cruises that we have been on, we have never been to any private islands. I would like to know, other than endless beaches, do they offer anything else? We enjoy just hanging out, watching people and having a few drinks in the shade. Are there areas like that? I understand Carnival provides the food and beverages. Will we need cash for anything or is it all Sign & Sail? We will also be there on Christmas Day. Wonder if this is where Santa relaxes after his long night working. :D
cb at sea Posted August 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Yes...what you want to do is fine! There are louongers all over...sun or shade..food is served on the beach and drinks operate just like on the ship...you will use your cabin key to charge anything you buy. There will be a straw market that accepts cash...but for anything provided by the ship (drinks, excursions, etc...) your card is all you need. We love the private beach days. You can come and go as you please, so if you're not a "beach person", the ship is available to you, also!
