jennjess Posted August 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2014 Considering a cruise on this ship, can anyone tell me where the smoking areas are, as one of our party is a smoker? I believe that the cabins and balconies are non-smoking areas.
AmoMondo Posted August 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2014 It is basically the same as the rest of the fleet. One side of open decks (think port side but could be the other), casino and there will be a designated bar as well (can't remember which one). It will be detailed in the guest booklet in cabins. It is more retricted than it used to be but they will still have places where they can smoke.
sidari Posted August 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2014 One side of the Boat/Promenade deck is used and on Divina it was the Port side of the Pool Deck, some nights in the Casino and the Cigar lounge.
jennjess Posted August 8, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted August 8, 2014 Thanks for your answers, sounds like they will have somewhere to go. A couple more questions. Is there a buffet dining option and what are the opening times. Are there vegetarian meals available there and in the MDR? Also are the excursions offered in English? AmoMondo Posted August 8, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2014 (edited) Thanks for your answers, sounds like they will have somewhere to go. A couple more questions. Is there a buffet dining option and what are the opening times. Are there vegetarian meals available there and in the MDR? yes there is an option to have dinner in the buffet, can't tell you much about it as I eat almost all my meals in the MDR. I just don't like buffets no matter where. The buffet is open 20 hours out of 24 each day. It has different food availability throughout this time. Not sure when the dinner section starts but it will be around the same time as first sitting and run through until at least part of the second sitting slot in MDR. Yes they have vegetarian options in both MDR and buffet. At lunch I sometimes go to the Ethnic corner in the buffet as it is usually very good. There is an extensive salad bar as well. Also are the excursions offered in English? Yes but there is a risk they may not get enough bookings from English speaking passengers to reach the minimum number for the tour to operate. If that happens they will either combine with another language tour provided the tour guide also speaks English, or they will cancel at short notice. I almost never do organised tours so can't comment on how often they go ahead as planned versus being a multi lingual tour or cancelled Please see my answers above. jennjess Posted August 8, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted August 8, 2014 Please see my answers above. Thanks again. Ethnic corner sounds interesting, do they have curries? My son likes spicy foods and is not so keen on Italian food. Hence we may eat more often in the buffet.

Different types of food each day but they do a good lamb madras one of the days:) Edited August 9, 2014 by AmoMondo
