Drinks package on Carnival & other Q's.

We are planning on buying a drinks package but am wondering if you can get more than one drink at a time? I am not a huge fizzy drinker so don't want to buy 2. Also is it coke or Pepsi?

Are the coffee machines available 24/7?

Hi,

 

The only drink packages on Carnival Australia are soft drink packages. You can only get one drink at a time because you are not supposed to share packages. If you don't drink much soft drink you are probably better buying them as you go, than buying a package. It is Coke. They serve from cans, although I must admit I drink Diet Coke and it does have a slightly different taste. Maybe it's produced off-shore?

 

The coffee machines in the buffet are available 24/7.

It's always interesting to check where the Coke comes from on board. We've seen Fiji, USA, Mexico, South Africa and of course Australia, all on ships sailing out of Sydney.

We have also seen Coke from Thailand and the Phillipines.Being a Global company , Carnival names the price they will pay, buys it from who ever will supply them in bulk , and then distributes it amongst the fleet world wide as required.
