hi all

We are taking our first cruise from Sydney to noumea etc on 16/10/2014.

We are kiwis.

just curious to hear from anyone who has taken this trip ( on spirit,as legend not arrived in Oz yet) any general points on weather, sea conditions in Oct etc.

Also keen to find out on beer, spirit costs in bars and the cost to buy bottle of spirits for cabin. fully realise that drink costs are high but looking through posts only seem to see American costs. Any tips would be appreciated.

getting close now and very excited.

cheers:D

October is usually nice weather as storm season is Jan feb march

Not been on carnival for a lot of years so can't help with pricing

Weather will be hot and. Is a good cruise

Noumea I like although a lot don't

Isle if pines. Lifou. Mystery. Island. Champagne. Bay. Etc lively places not sure which ones on your itinerary though

Enjoy

Greg

Sorry, I can;t help with pricing as it may be different than in the US. We were on the Carnival Legend in July andthe only thing I can rave about is the dinner in the steak specialty restaurant on our first nigt. Best dinner of all 80+ cruises we have taken. And on the first night of the cruise it included a bottle of wine.
