docking in Naples - ? about hydrofoil to Sorrento

Hi there, We are going to be on the 10/10/06 sailing of the Liberty and i have some ?'s - can you take the hydrofoil from here to Sorrento and if anyone has done this how often do they run back and forth and how far from the ship? Also how far is Pompeii from The dock? How much would a taxi be to stop at Pompeii and drop us in Sorrento and then return us? We are 2 people. Thanks for any advice. Trying to keep things a inexpensive as possible. Do not want to take the train.

Taking the hydrofoil from Naples to Sorrento or elsewhere is a breeze. The ticket booths are to your left as your exit the port terminal. Check the link for schedule:
