Rare Jamman54 Posted September 19, 2014 Author #201 Share Posted September 19, 2014 A family picture in front of the El Gaucho Restaurant….. I did have the El Gaucho steak, really, really good, but pricy….. For two hours, we had a wonderful dinner with our friends from New Jersey, who were in Aruba for a two week vacation. Here’s a group shot….. All too soon it was time to head back to the ship. We said our goodbyes, and then we caught a taxi for the five minute ride back. We were back at the cruise terminal by 9:15pm, in plenty of time to meet the 9:30pm boarding time. Ryan and the Carnival Liberty….. Ryan in the terminal….. A family picture in the terminal….. To be continued…..
Rare Jamman54 Posted September 19, 2014 Author #202 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Once on board, we went right back to our cabins, as we were very tired from the day, and the huge meal that we had just had. We watched our night time sail away from our very dark “secret” deck….. Once we were out to sea, we all turned in for the night. Tonight’s towel animal….. We received our invitation for the Captain’s Diamond Cocktail Party….. Coming up next: From one beautiful island to the next. Our day in Curacao. wrigley80 Posted September 19, 2014 #203 Share Posted September 19, 2014 We were here about an hour. The water was beautiful, and there were plenty of fish to seen. It’s a shame I didn’t think to bring my water camera along! After getting in the water, Ryan realized that he had his phone in his pocket. So much for the lucky rocks! Well, at least I had insurance on it. Here are our jeeps parked at the top of the beach….. The tour is now over and we are now heading back to the ship. Ryan and I highly recommend this tour. We had a great time…. We are running really late. The tour was supposed to be over around 5pm, and it was now almost 6:30 when we got back to the ship. We are supposed to meet friends for dinner at 6:30! No problem. I gave our friends a call letting them know we would be late, and then took the fastest shower of my life. We were back off the ship at 7pm, and got these shots of the sunset as we headed to the taxi stand….. We have made it to the El Gaucho Restaurant….. To be continued….. Oh my those Sunset pics are absolutely beautiful. WOW

cynthe66 Posted September 19, 2014 #206 Share Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) I am all caught up now Jeff. Love the pics of Aruba. We were there in April and did the Banana Bus tour. It was a lot of fun Hubby and I are thinking about the Banana Bus tour is it good? Edited September 19, 2014 by cynthe66 forgot a word
wrigley80 Posted September 19, 2014 #207 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Hubby and I are thinking about the Banana Bus tour is it good? Absolutely YES....it was wonderful. We had about 20 people on our tour. It was $25.00 per person. We visited the Rock Formations, Alto Vista Chapel, the California Lighthouse, and Palm Beach. I have a review here on CC from our cruise on the Dream with photos from that excursion. Just do a search with my profile name and I'm sure you'll find it
Rare Buffettfan 225 Posted September 20, 2014 #208 Share Posted September 20, 2014 A lot of people said to us that they didn't know what to say, and I fully understood, because I wouldn't know what to say. There are no words. For us, just the fact that you came and paid respects, was the greatest comfort. Thank you for the words. - are you taking photos of FunTimes to post them, or scanning, they are perfect size for posts.
Rare Buffettfan 225 Posted September 20, 2014 #209 Share Posted September 20, 2014 Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so sorry that you have to endure such a tragic loss. This review has been very therapeutic for us, and I am happy that it has allowed some people to open up and talk about these things. We have found that talking about it was the best way to handle our grief, so we didn't shut ourselves in, and immediately we allowed people to visit and talk with us. I hope my other faithful readers don't mind when the talk turns this way. We can all learn from each other. Congrats on becoming a Grandmother. It must be a great feeling. The next segment will be in Aruba, and we have tons and tons of pictures, and videos, to share. Stay tuned!! well I can say for everyone, we appreciate your time to post review, candid photos and open thoughts. We are generally a great group here aren't we? If anyone can learn something about cruising, enjoying a photo or ease a pain your posts are worth it. You eased our anxiety of attending the visitation on what to say. All I can say is a heartfelt Blessings to your whole family.

Did you get picks of menu?? Didn't think to take any pics of the menu or the meal, as we were out with friends. The Gaucho steak, which was 20 oz. of Argentinian beef, was $42.00US. Our bill for the 3 of us with tip was $207.00, but worth it!

Hubby could def polish off a 20 oz steak but for me I'm good with a smaller cut. Think we'll probably go there for dinner since we're in Aruba until 10. And it will be my B-Day. I want to enjoy every last second I can in Aruba.:p Definitely want to watch the sunset. Thanks so much for this post. Definitely makes it easier to get up in the morning cuz I think, Oh I wonder what he posted. Grab my cup of Joe and turn on C.C,:p

Step 2 - Go to your user cp, edit signature, then place the cursor where you want the link to show. Step 3 - Click on the insert link icon above. right click in the box and click paste. your url address should now be in the box. click ok. Step 4 - A line of text will now be where you had the cursor, and a section will be highlighted. Begin typing in your title and it will replace what was highlighted. Step 5 - Once done, highlight the whole text, then adjust your font, size, color, etc to what you want it to be. You are done. Have fun!!
