Krazy Kruizers Posted September 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Our area had only 1 night where we could get pictures of the super moon. This is all I could get:
pnerissa Posted September 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Figure I'd give it a go. This will be my first submission to the photo forums. Took this one today on the trail behind the house. Rare PurpleHays Posted September 16, 2014 #11 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Ah, marching band. One daughter did two years, then moved to a school that didn't have a football team or marching band, the other did four years of color guard AND winter guard. Danged expensive, but worth it. Is your son a freshman or did he start later?
shootr Posted September 16, 2014 #12 Share Posted September 16, 2014 He's a soph but it's his first year in marching because we moved too late to get in last year. He did orchestra and jazz 1 his first year - and was first chair by mid season. He plays guitar and is now starting on the piano. All his old man could do at that age was wail on the skins :). Very impressive. Do you think that he will try for a music scholarship for college?
shootr Posted September 18, 2014 #14 Share Posted September 18, 2014 He better! He wants to be an attorney, and I told him I can only pay for 4years of college, so it's either a band or an academic scholarship for his 4 year degree, then I'll take care of law school, or he's taking out loans. He's straight A's so either way he'll be fine. I'm a very lucky dad. (His sister is straight A's too!)

Is it a crater? or a sun reflection? I have it on my pictures also

Certainly hope all goes well over the next several years for him to become a lawyer. I taught high school math and science and college physics to pay for my law degree. That was many, many years ago.
