BamaLady#13 Posted September 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Are there hair dryers? If so, are they attached to an electrical box hanging on the bathroom wall. I remember them for a past cruise, just don't know if it was a Carnival. I only remember that they were very inconvenient.

We had an inside room on Liberty, I think they were inside the drawer at the desk area. You have to hold the button for it to continue drying. Many people take their own, if their hair is long or otherwise hard to dry.
Rare Terre Posted September 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) They are inside the drawer. But if you have long or thick hair, I'd bring my own. They're not very good ones and you have to keep your finger on the on button to keep it turned on. Edited September 12, 2014 by Terre
cruznlobo Posted September 18, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Take a heavy duty rubber band(like the ones from asparagus)and wrap it around the button.

KansasK Posted September 19, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Take a heavy duty rubber band(like the ones from asparagus)and wrap it around the button. This is great idea! Holding down the button gets old before my hair is dry. I don't mind that the hair dryer is not as strong as mine is, but holding down the button tends to be a pain. I understand that this is a safety issue, but who would leave a hair dryer running?
BamaLady#13 Posted September 19, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Thanks for passing that along. A rubber band sure takes up less space than my hair dryer in packing.
cruznlobo Posted September 19, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Glad you like the idea. My wife has been doing it for a few years now. Take a couple rubber bands, in case one breaks.
SkyMaster Posted September 19, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Just off "Liberty", and all of the info above is correct. I do have a LOT of hair, and found the dryer aboard to be O.K. As noted above, a rubber band or two, is certainly lighter, and takes less space than a hair dryer. ;) "SKY"
Lovefuninthesun Posted September 19, 2014 #10 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Take a heavy duty rubber band(like the ones from asparagus)and wrap it around the button. Love this idea! I have now added this to my packing list! Thanks!
