Rare foodsvcmgr Posted September 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2014 It's a long story but basically due to a lot of OBC I will be buying my drink package after boarding. Where is the most convenient place to buy a package right after boarding? Thanks for any info.

At any bar before you buy your first drink, of course!:D
Lsimon Posted September 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2014 You might even pass a booth or table where they're selling these before you get to that first bar!
barneymag Posted September 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2014 So to do this on board what do you need ? Just your room key ? and then the barman puts the upgrade into the system ??? and you're good to go ? and then pay the $11.50 pp per day on check out ? Thanks Stuart

Thanks Stuart Yes, the total amount will be on a charge slip and added to your on-board account just like any other purchase made on board. When you check in you'll be issued a "sea pass" card which is your room key, identification for getting on and off the ship, and charge card for on-board use and that's all you need to make purchase the package (or an individual drink for that matter). When you buy the package they'll both enter the info into the system so it is on your account and put a sticker indicating the package you've bought on your card. So if you've got a lot of OBC there's little point pre booking the premium upgrade ? (We've already got the classic package as part of the 123 promo) Stuart

We have a decently hefty OBC for our next cruise in December and just plan to use part of it to upgrade our package. Always love the premium package :)
