tmbrea66 Posted September 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) Will be in Key West Feb 3rd on Carnival Magic, trying to decide if I want trolley tickets or to rent a car. Is there enough to do to make it worth renting a car and is it easy to get around, or would the trolley be a better choice? By the way, Key West Cruise ship schedule show two ships to be in port that day the Magic from 1000-1800 the Ecstasy from 0715-1330 Edited September 27, 2014 by tmbrea66
bhopal21 Posted September 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2014 For your first visit I would stick with City View. Old Town is easily walkable and parking is at a premium to say the least. It is easy to get on and off the trolley and spend time where you like without having to first find a parking space and then feed the meter. keywester33 Posted September 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Make that three in a row! :-) Take the City View Trolley and relax and enjoy the sites, rather then navigating small, crowded, one way streets on your own and dealing with parking. MuffyKismet Posted December 2, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 2, 2014 Yes , make that 4 the Trolley is your best bet for first time in Key West but even better then that if you like to explore a bit more and are able , rent a biscycle then you can go EVERYWHERE and not have to worry about parking which is definatley at a premium in Key West! But if you have kids with you or are older then the trolley is perfect!
