Rare pierces Posted October 21, 2014 Author #14 Share Posted October 21, 2014 These are actually embedded in the walls of the Bottle House in Radiator Springs at Disney's California Adventure park. It just looks better like this and the title makes more sense. Bottoms Up Dave
zackiedawg Posted October 22, 2014 #15 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Awesome sky Shootr! And love the cactus closeup details, Dileep. Dave - I need to get out to see the California Disney again - a lot has changed in 20 years! A few more birds from this past weekend, with the big lens: Wood stork in perfect light: Great egret flying by close: Wet cormorant coming in for a landing: Belted kingfisher getting ready to dive on a fish: Young purple gallinule, just beginning to get his amazing colors out from under the dull juvenile brown feathers:

dltvermont Posted October 27, 2014 #20 Share Posted October 27, 2014 shootr, Those last two pics are about as perfect as can be. I want my pics to look as the actual scene did when I was standing there and I think those two do this perfectly. Its like looking out a window at that scene. Very nice. shootr Posted October 28, 2014 #22 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Very kind of you. I had to make a few adjustments in contrast and lighten up some darker areas, but they now look as it was. We just sat and wandered and took it all in for a good long while. Fall lasts about a week in these parts so to catch it like this-we feel extremely fortunate.
