Jollyholidays Posted October 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2014 1st time cruiser, from Santos port, docking 9am on Saturday 6 December. Anybody know how long it will take? Trying to organise transport back to GRU airport, San Paulo. Will we make Cometa bus 12.20 from Santos?
earn Posted October 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2014 I have no experience of docking at Santos, but have left from there. It is a short taxi ride to the bus station, where you can to the Cometa bus to GRU. This is a great cheap option. The trip can take quite a long time though, depending on traffic. When is your flight?
Jollyholidays Posted October 12, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted October 12, 2014 Hi Earn, thanks for replying, flight is at 6pm but want to be there by 4 latest, seems to be very few options as taxi to airport is about £100.
Jollyholidays Posted October 14, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted October 14, 2014 MSC customer service been brilliant today. Got in touch by email, quick reply, MSC do provide transfers from Santos Port to GRU airport, at San Paulo. Cost is approx £38.00 per person. If booked through TA, need to go through them 1st. Looking at previous posts it appears that disembarkation is usually done with 90 minutes.

That seems a reasonable price for the distance and convenience. Those with transfer usually get priority disembarking.
Jollyholidays Posted October 14, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Hi Anomondo, agree, cheaper than taxi and not worrying about getting to Santos and hoping you get on the bus ok
