pattymo Posted October 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Thinking of cruising on my first NCL cruise ( except for the Norway like 33 years ago) and have cruised the other cruise ones and they allow 1 bottle per person, is this permissible on NCL? Johnny Bananas Posted October 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2014 You can bring on as many bottles as you like. $15/750ml paid between security and check in. Fee is irregardless of where you drink it

Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app No limit on the number of bottles that I know of... Our last cruise ended last Friday on the Pearl. We carried on five bottles of wine in a open wine carrier. Once past security you are escorted to a table and asked to pay a $15 corkage fee per bottle. Sometimes early in the boarding process the corkage fee table is not set up. In that case you just board without paying the corkage fee. That happened to us in two of the last three cruises. We've carried on 10, 6, and 5 bottles of wine. Totsiejen14 Posted October 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Do they charge you the corkage fee even if you bring your own cork screw? Edited October 22, 2014 by Totsiejen14
njhorseman Posted October 22, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Do they charge you the corkage fee even if you bring your own cork screw? Yes... it has nothing to do with corkscrews...bringing a bottle of wine on board costs $15 for a 750 ml bottle. garycarla Posted October 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 22, 2014 And, does not matter where you drink it, or if it has a cork.
olya1972 Posted October 24, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) We are sailing on BA. Our wine bottles are one litter each (not 750 mL or 1500 mL, but 1000 mL). Will we be charged $15 or $30 per bottle? Did someone had experience with that? Thanks. Edited October 24, 2014 by olya1972

Only if they find it in your luggage, very very small chance
