lalabaster Posted November 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Is the starboard or port side of the ship better for the panama cruise. We are on the dolphin deck in a vista suite.
Loonbeam Posted November 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Doesn't really matter, as you won't know which side of the canal you will be going through and you don't want to be on your balcony the whole time anyway. Look at the route and figure out which side will give you sun when you want (or don't) want it for the majority of the trip. Is the starboard or port side of the ship better for the panama cruise. aikensbest Posted November 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2014 with all the venues to see the canal from the bow or aft of the ship, it makes little difference. If you stay on the ship you will from your stateroom see one side of the ship going and the other returning.

Loonbeam Posted November 10, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 10, 2014 No idea which berth you will use or which way the ship will be facing, so again, no big deal, and honestly other than cartagena, the view of port wasn't a big draw, How about another ports Sent from my iPhone using Forums
skynight Posted November 11, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2014 The best views of the Panama Canal are from the open upper decks and not from the balcony. If you are on your balcony be sure to turn on the TV to get all the public service announcements, as someone will be narrating and providing information.
