I'm sorry if this has been asked already but I was going through our online checkin for our cruise. As I was looking I saw that my moms' name had been entered wrong (Carole instead of Carol). Is there any possible way to change this.

No way to change a name on the website. You'll definitely want to call and get that changed so that all the documentation names match before you get to the pier.

You can call the main reservation number. I changed my reservation to my married name after I received my passport back and it was no problem to get it changed.

They don't care about your middle name on a cruise, but they could get picky about first names. To be on the safe side, the OP should get the name corrected. There's no reason not to.

 

Also I suspect the experience of your MIL was from well before current security requirements that were imposed after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
