drew sailbum Posted November 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2014 There are no zip lines in Cayman. Someone may chime in shortly about dolphin encounters.
OCruisers Posted November 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 23, 2014 The most popular thing to do for first time cruisers in Grand Cayman is to swim with the stingrays. If you haven't done it already, it's worth considering. ;) LuLu
blue_water Posted November 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Agree with Lulu, and would highly recommend Fat FIsh Adventures for the day. We used them while staying on GCM but they cater to cruisers and are more pseronal than the large operators and take smaller groups that avoid the larger groups. Tagong Posted January 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2015 I was in GC two years ago and me, my wife, MIL, FIL and our little girl (8 months at time) went on the Dolphin Cove excursion booked through the ship. I'm sure you could book on your own also. It was fantastic. A nice 20 minute or so drive along 7-mile beach past all the resorts and condos and we arrived at Dolphin Cove. You take a short (5 min) walk through their nature preserve and then get briefed on your encounter or swim with the Dolphins. The trainers were fantastic. The dolphins were well trained and very personable. Had a great time.
