shorning Posted November 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2014 We are Elite Plus on Celebrity and are wondering if that makes us Diamond + on RCCL. Our cruise documents on the Allure in February say we are Diamond. Does anyone know?
Kathie13 Posted November 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2014 And vise versa! Will diamond + on RCCL be elite+ on Celebrity? Kathie Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Clarea Posted November 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 26, 2014 (edited) We are Elite Plus on Celebrity and are wondering if that makes us Diamond + on RCCL. Our cruise documents on the Allure in February say we are Diamond. Does anyone know? No, the reciprocity currently ends at Elite and Diamond. In other words, Elite and above on Celebrity get you Diamond on Royal. Diamond and above on Royal translates to Elite on Celebrity. reedprincess Posted November 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 26, 2014 (edited) Nope. The highest reciprocal is Diamond on Royal and Elite on Celebrity. You could be Diamond Plus Pinnacle on Royal, and highest you get is Elite on Celebrity, conversely as Elite Plus or Zenith on Celebrity, and highest reciprocal is Diamond on Celebrity. I wish your bride and you a very Happy Thanksgiving!! You, along with Patty, have kept right to the point, and back up your answers with fact stated from Royal Caribbean. Thank you for helping make Cruise Critic....from Royal Caribbean, as your main source of cruising, up to date and exciting. I hope that someday our paths will cross, maybe you name the ship, and sail date!! Rick Edited November 26, 2014 by rubrrick added verbage

pspercy Posted November 26, 2014 #9 Share Posted November 26, 2014 All you have to do is look at Celebrity's site (surprise): http://www.celebritycruises.com/captains-club/membership/captains-club-overview#captains_club_tier_elite_plus/captains-club/membership/captains-club-tier-elite-plus%3Fsubtab=true "Ability to enroll in Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society Diamond Level"
boeckli Posted November 26, 2014 #10 Share Posted November 26, 2014 If you have joined Royal's CAS as Diamond through the reciprocal arrangement, do your CAS points 'start' at the Diamond level (80 pts) and you then add from there with Royal cruises towards D+ (175 pts), or do you start with 0 and need to accumulate all 175 pts through Royal cruises? You would start with zero. The reciprocal benefit does not affect points on either the Royal or Celebrity side.

You start at 0 and will need to earn all the points to reach the next level (Diamond Plus). The same in the other direction, you will start with Elite and 0 points, you will need to earn all the points required to reach Elite Plus. atb Posted November 26, 2014 #13 Share Posted November 26, 2014 we were Elite with Celebrity when we completed our first cruise with RCL. We were Diamond on our first cruise. When RCL redid the point structure - we started with the 80 points, and have been working to achieve Diamond plus. In the meantime, Celebrity redid their point structure, and we had enough Celebrity points to become Elite plus. Our quest for Pinnacle or Zenith would be with points earned on each cruise line. Not sure we will ever see Pinnacle or Zenith - but for me - it's all about the journey. :D
