garydm Posted April 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Unable to find any information on this on their web site. Can anyone please advise as to the smoking policy/areas on the ships, etc.? Thanks. Gary
goeurope Posted April 23, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2004 The information is on the Web site, but it's very hard to find. See The "General Information" page at: http://www.silversea.com/calendar/frames/calendar_geninfo_sitemap_frame.asp The smoking policy reads: "For the comfort of all our guests, The Restaurant, indoors at the Terrace Café, the Show Lounge, the Panorama Lounge, the Observation Lounge (aboard Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper), Card/Conference Room, Library, Spa/Fitness Centre, Internet Point, Gift Shops and Boutiques are smoke-free. Cigarette smoking is permitted in designated areas of The Bar, outside at the Terrace Café, the pool area, Casino Bar and in the Humidor (aboard Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper). Cigar and pipe smoking is permitted in designated areas including on the open decks, in The Champagne Room (aboard Silver Cloud and Silver Wind) and in The Humidor." -- Durant Imboden Europeforvisitors.com
