postman999 Posted December 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2014 We are doing 1week on the regal then following week on a different ship. Both in port (FLL) the same day. Does Princess take care of luggage transfer and shuttle us over to new ship? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Bill B Posted December 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Not unless the two cruises were purchased as a package and a 'transfer' was included.
Phyljim Posted December 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Is your second cruise on another Princess ship? If so, talk to your Circle Host, she can help you arrange transport. Always has for us. But if second cruise is on another cruise line, look for the taxi lines.

skynight Posted December 10, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Look at this thread http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2136427 Also, believe you will be required to pick up your luggage in the terminal and go through Immigration and Customs after the first voyage. Now I am assuming that both cruises are Princess. If another line, you are on your own.
Bill B Posted December 10, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Huh?????????Never heard of that. Neither have I. I once had a pseudo-B2B booked on two different ships (of the same line) in port on the same day but had to cancel. I was prepared to collect my luggage and hump it over to check-in. Dietemann Posted December 10, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2014 We just did that at FLL. Got off Royal Princess, Terminal 2, went to Caribbean Princess @ Terminal 19. Captains Circle referred us to Passenger Services who added us to hotel transfer bus. They said the bus would make a stop for us. Long story short, we got hotel transfer disembarkation, asked for bus. The port coordinator wanted to know which hotel, but we were not on a list. So we hired a taxi for the transfer and gave the guy $20, fare actually was around $10. The nice part about getting off so late was that we waited on the Royal in comfort until 10:30 am and as soon as we got on Caribbean we could board. Make life easy on yourself and get a cab. Each cruise line has different policies so what might apply to one might not apply to another.
