riddle Posted December 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2014 Another Question About CAS Player Levels: I know this has been discussed before and I tried to get it from the Casino Host on my last cruise but I still am not sure. I became Golden on my cruise in November. Will I go back to 0 points on April 1 or will I retain some of these points. If I don't cruise again before April 1 will I just be Lucky on April 1? rascaldog Posted December 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2014 My understanding is that on 4/1/15 your points reset but your gold status remain for a year, and you have that year to accumulate your points back then on 4/1/16 your status will be determined by the points earned between 4/1/15 and 4/1/16. Evaluation period is April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015. Tier levels are based on Reward Points earned within the 12 month evaluation period. Reward Points earned between April 1st 2014 through March 31st of 2015 will determine your tier level for the upcoming year starting April 1, 2015. ulster-cruiser Posted December 13, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 13, 2014 I am intrigued after reading a few of these threads on CAS. I did not see anything about it on my two cruises on NCL. If i were to join can I add my 'points' from my last cruise on the Breakaway in November?

Points start to track AFTER you have joined.

Yes thats what I meant, I was wondering if I would have gained any points from when they would have just taken my room card at tables, and then if they could be transferred onto a CAS membership. But I assume it is unlikely.

But I assume it is unlikely. Those points will remain. I would call CAS and make sure they have those histories. They should, but they may need to get the data. I know for my account I give them my latitudes number and they look it up from there. I don't know what would happen for a first time NCL cruiser who has no Latitudes number, but they must have a system in place. It's definitely worth a call, they are open M-F 8:00 to 4:00. In fact I've seen them explain to players that they need to have a CAS card, for them to keep track of the number. Yes, it's tied to your Latitudes, but not driven by it. b) Last time I checked, they were open 9:00 - 5:30.... http://www.ncl.com/why-cruise-norwegian/casino-cruise#downloads Stephen . I was on the breakaway recently and when I was sitting at the table if someone said they didn't have a players card the dealer said it's okay just give me your sale and sign card and they use that. Also towards the end of my trip I lost my players card and drink card so I got a new one but they told me that I could just use my sail and sign card in the machine Edited December 13, 2014 by FootballParent
riddle Posted December 13, 2014 Author #13 Share Posted December 13, 2014 I am trying not to be stupid here (I know, try harder) but here is what I am not sure of: April 1, 2014 - March 2015. During that period I go from lucky to hot to golden. Along comes April 1 2015. Am I still golden for that entire next year? Do I only risk being lower than Golden on April 1 2016? Casino Comp Chick Posted December 13, 2014 #14 Share Posted December 13, 2014 April 1st this year I "lost" points so I dropped down to hot on my 1 nighter I made the points up and went back to Golden so I expect points to drop off again in April, I just don't know how many. On my February 2 nighter I will inquire what will drop off and make them up in July.
cantthinkofanythingfun Posted December 13, 2014 #15 Share Posted December 13, 2014 I actually have a question. I never knew you could get rated on a cruise ship. On my last cruise two weeks ago I didn't intend to gamble, but I was dying for a cigarette, so I sat at a blackjack table, and that turned into a 2 hour $50-100/hand session. I presented my sign and sail card when I sat down to get cash to play. Do you think I was rated? I know that's not a lot ion the grand scheme of things, but I am going back on the Breakaway tomorrow. This time I will be sure to get a card if I decide to gamble.

When we were just on the Breakaway in September, they loaded our SlotPlay Coupon Money directly onto our room card. Our room card would tell us how many points we had whenever we logged into a slot machine.
