Electrical outlets, Jewel inside cabins?

I recall both 220V (two round pins) and 110V outlets in our cabin, but am thinking the 110V outlet was the old two prong-style outlet. Does anyone know if the 110V outlet can accept a polarized plug (the kind of plug with one prong slightly larger than the other)? I've got a couple of converters. Will be traveling with my in-laws, and my father-in-law has a couple of medical devices that needed grounded connections. Thanks.

I know each cabin has at least one "U.S." type plug. We always plug an extension cord into them.

Grounded plug? I guess so. More than once I have broken off the grounded pin to make things work when traveling, but can not speak specifically about the ship. Come to think about it, I have never had a problem with my CPAP, but that always goes into an extension cord anyways.

What sort of medical device are you speaking about?
