GwenyP Posted January 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2015 We're leaving on the Fantasy next month and as of now we're staying at the Residence Inn the night before the cruise. There will be five of us, one of which is a child in a wheelchair. We don't particularly want to deal with the crowded shuttles so I'm considering calling a taxi service to see if they have a cab that can transport the five of us including the wheelchair. Can anyone recommend a taxi service? Also, does anyone know how much a cab to the port for the family would be? I want to make sure it's a reputable company that will be at the hotel on time. TIA. Marie51 Posted January 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) We recently stayed at the Residence Inn Port Canaveral. We told the front desk the evening before that we would like a cab at 11:30 the next day and they called one for us. It was $15 plus tip. You will need a van taxi but they are the same price. The shuttle from Residence Inn is $8/pp. You can call the hotel directly to make sure a w/c can be accommodated in the taxi.
