Miami Embarkation on Celebrity

We will be taking a bus (Escot) to the Port of Miami and getting on the Celebrity Reflection. How much walking is required from the drop off point (I would assume it's also where taxis drop people off) to where we would board the ship. My DH uses a walker, but I'm wondering if we should ask Celebrity for wheelchair assistance. Any advice?

I cannot remember, but then I use a scooter. That said even if the walk is short at times we have had to wait a while, other times practically walked onto ship. IMHO I would get a wheelchair rather than take the chance the standing would cause discomfort.

It is not very far, but depending on the lines, there could be a lot of standing and waiting.

 

The ramp up to the ship can be steep and long.

 

I recommend you request embarkation and disembarkation assistance with a wheelchair.
