Marran Posted January 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2015 I plan to store my luggage under the bed on my upcoming cruise on the Equinox. Will my large case that is 30"X 13" fit? I am in a 2A stateroom. TIA Marie
laslomas Posted January 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) I could not get my large solid case under the bed with it closed. But by opening it out, it was fine. My travelling companion got her closed case under the bed by lifting the bed a little to get it under the overhang. So I am sure it will fit one way. Rare ghstudio Posted January 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2015 If it doesn't fit, your cabin attendant should be able to store it somewhere for you.
sptrout Posted January 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) We got two 40" 4-wheelers, plus a 26" carry-on two wheeler under our bed without much effort (all softsides). I was surprised they fit. (AQ cabin) Edited January 29, 2015 by sptrout

Duanerice1 Posted January 29, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2015 You'll have no problem. Had our humongous suitcase fit without an effort. As was mentioned, worse case is lift the bed a touch so slide it under the frame.
spearmint Posted January 29, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2015 lift the bed a touch so slide it under the frame.[/size] We have always had to do this. Also, if your set is matched, just nest each one inside the other, and then put it under the bed. We put our carry on inside the middle sized suitcase and then the middle sized one inside our large one, which fits under the bed with no problem except as noted in the quote above. huskerc Posted January 30, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Our very large 29" luggage fits under the S-class beds with no issue.
ClaudiaB Posted January 30, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Our big ones fit closed, but we open them and use that for our dirty clothes and for things that we don't need anymore or seldom need but have "just in case." No worries. Cabin designers really figured it all out pretty well. Have a great cruise. That's actually our favorite ship.
