Boilermaker77 Posted February 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2015 I have only sailed with Princess and we've always requested robes in our room so we don't have to pack one. Does RCI do the same thing?
Cru1s1ng2009 Posted February 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2015 not unless you are at platinum level. Or emerald. I forget and don't bother, they take up too much space.
njm5378 Posted February 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2015 Grand Suite and above have them also. If you want a robe bring yours. I find the ships are really uncomfortable.

jules815 Posted February 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2015 We had robes in our owner's suite on Brilliance, but they weren't cotton like most hotels. I thought they were uncomfortable too.

Does RCI do the same thing? only in suites or if you are high enough in C&A Society to warrant the perk.

Colorado Babe Posted February 15, 2015 #16 Share Posted February 15, 2015 I always use the robes in cabins however they're to small for my husband. If your 6'2" and a body builder bring your own.
susancruzs Posted February 15, 2015 #17 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Interesting posts! Taking RCI for 1st time since 2003 was hoping for a robe! :) A longer cruise, inside cabin, I'll have to think about this one. Being gone for a month, trying to use just one 26" Pullman, don't want to bring a robe!
Scoobydobe7 Posted February 15, 2015 #18 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Did not think they did robes anymore. I am Diamond and on my last two cruises (April 14 and Dec 14) there were none. Never thought to ask, just assumed they were more cutbacks.

Rare nimbex1970 Posted February 15, 2015 #20 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Grand Suite and above have them also. If you want a robe bring yours. I find the ships are really uncomfortable. Your room steward will provide them on request, even in the lowliest of inside rooms. However, this is not, not a luxury robe, it is dry and scratchy. If this is an item that brings you comfort on your vacation, use the packing space for it. If you simply want a robe, than this will do just fine.
