RAMSJUNKIE887 Posted February 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Going on her in one month and was curious if anybody knew? You would think the biggest and newest ships would get it first but what do I know.

falkcor Posted February 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2015 they're probably the same, perhaps with the addition of the $20 steakhouse selection options.

What are the $20 dollar steak house selections?? never heard of this. We try to go to the steakhouse one night on each cruise and its $35 if I remember right. falkcor Posted February 18, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 18, 2015 What are the $20 dollar steak house selections?? never heard of this. We try to go to the steakhouse one night on each cruise and its $35 if I remember right. they're 4 options on the mdr dinner menu offered each night - basically you pay $20 for an entree from the steakhouse - so upgraded steaks, whole steamed lobster, etc. here's info from carnival: http://www.carnival.com/cruise-food/steakhouse-selections and a sample menu: http://www.carnival.com/~/media/Images/explore/dining/menus/dining-room-steakhouse-selections.ashx so those options are whole steamed 1-1/2 lb lobster, surf n turf, 9 oz filet mignon or the 14 oz new york strip. on elegant night they swap out the lobster for lamb. going to the 'actual' steakhouse is still $35, but you get the 'full experience' including the upgraded starters, sides and deserts.
