Kara Cruiser Posted February 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2015 We are taking the Celebrity Infinity May 15th out of San Francisco. What can we expect to see in the way of wild life and snow? Has anyone had a stateroom by the elevators? We are booked on the 9th deck and fear it will be too noisy.

If you are looking for whales , May is a little for them.
shealea Posted February 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2015 We've had an inside room right near the elevator - stairway area. In fact, it was the first cabin directly around the corner. It sure made it easy to find our cabin door, and was nice not to have to walk far. There was not a bit of noise issue for us. The only time we heard any noise at all was a couple of times some young kids ran by with their parents, and they were a bit noisy with excitement. But, didn't bother me a bit. Love to see and hear the excitement of young kids on a cruise!!!!
gerryl12 Posted February 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2015 May should be a great time. The whales are headed back, the weather is getting warmer so the snow should be gone from lower levels. There is wildlife all year round, just keep your eyes open. We have stayed right by the elevators many times with no noise problems. It's the drunks heading back to their rooms in the middle of the night yelling that are the main problem and that can happen anywhere.
