love2cruise65 Posted February 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2015 Can anyone tell me if there are rest rooms on the tenders? I have some stomach problems and will be tendering on my next cruise. Thanks
gidewey52 Posted February 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2015 I have never been on a tender with a bathroom (Cococay, Belize, Grand Cayman and maybe a couple of other places). Jerry Manassas VA (Sunny but freezing!)
aftop Posted February 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2015 I have never seen restrooms on a tender. It's usually about a 5 minute trip ship to shore or return. They are small double deck boats seating about 30-40 people.
Clarea Posted February 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2015 Tender rides are usually very short. An exception is at Belize where the tender ride was something like 20 minutes.

Thanks I have never seen bathrooms on a tender. The ride can be very rough depending on where you are tendering. I have some stomach problems and will be tendering on my next cruise. ThanksI've never seen a restroom on a tender. I suggest that you take a sea-sickness bag - they should be available from your Cabin Steward or Guest Relations. Just having one might be all the additional comfort to get you through. Also take a few crackers. The tender rides are generally short enough that very few people have a significant problem.
FLACRUISER99 Posted February 19, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 19, 2015 I also never seen bathrooms on the tenders. However they must have some type of facilities when used as a lifeboat.

Tenders are not used as lifeboats (although sometimes on some cruise lines, lifeboats are used as tenders). I don't think lifeboats have restrooms. Sunny2020 Posted February 19, 2015 #11 Share Posted February 19, 2015 We recently traveled with someone with bladder problems who wondered the same thing when we tendered to Coco Cay. It looked like there might possibly be one , albeit very primitive , in the back of the tender on the lower level, IIRC . The ride itself to Coco Cay was short , maybe 5 minutes. But..waiting for the tender to load took much longer . It might be more comfortable to hang back until it's almost full before boarding.
cheers55 Posted February 20, 2015 #12 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Have tendered several times on several islands ...never seen a bathroom. In most cases you spend more time loading and unloading than tendering.
