No Spin Posted March 18, 2015 #26 Share Posted March 18, 2015 Huh, that is strange. Oh well, the quest for the premium liquor list continues. :D
MaxBuck Posted March 19, 2015 #27 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Glenfiddich and Oban will suit me fine from the Scotch perspective, but it's odd that those would be complimentary but a Grey Goose would cost out of pocket. Guess it's a good thing I'm not a vodka drinker. I also won't be shelling out extra coin for Hendrick's Gin; I'd drink it if it were gratis, though. sugar333 Posted March 19, 2015 #29 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Although this is not really relevant to your question. When cruising with Tauck my pre-dinner drink was an 18 year old Glenfiddich single malt and like everything in the bar was included. Tauck have no "premium exceptions". Can you request a bottle of liquor for your cabin on Tauck?Hubby likes a scotch on balcony.
Ozjohnno Posted March 19, 2015 #30 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Can you request a bottle of liquor for your cabin on Tauck?Hubby likes a scotch on balcony. I have to admit it never entered into my tiny brain to ask for an entire bottle of Scotch so I simply don't know but can guess the answer AND as for enjoying a drink on the balcony I also never did that as Tauck only have French Balconies. I can say I did enjoy a tipple on the sun deck and in the Lido in the stern. We requested a cheese and fruit plate which was delivered promptly. The only drinks I asked for were water, Diet Coke and some beers for the cabin fridge and it was replenished every day. Rod
dbncsuvet Posted March 19, 2015 #31 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Yes, I saw the chat, but neither of us logged in--we were both at work. I just assumed the moderator might have gathered some existing questions from the board. Yes they did. I saw there was a question on there that I posted on the boards and I never logged in to the chat or asked a question specifically for the chat. It was fine with me, as I got to see Guy's response!
