Clarea Posted March 4, 2015 #26 Share Posted March 4, 2015 If I use the super shuttle, is it $170 per person? Or is that for both my DH and I, one way? The $170 Super Shuttle price was total, for both, one-way.
Starry Eyes Posted March 4, 2015 #27 Share Posted March 4, 2015 If I use the super shuttle, is it $170 per person? Or is that for both my DH and I, one way? Here is the quick quote from super shuttle website: Exclusive Non-Stop Van Service First Passenger :$170.00 Each Additional Passenger :$0.00 Fuel Surcharge : $4.00 Max Passengers :10 So $174 each way for your party (up to 10). If you'd like to try to cut costs, you could check with others on your cruise's roll call. You might find there is another party arriving at IAH close to the same time, and you could discuss sharing a ride. Of course if one of the planes is delayed, the plan could go awry (as can any plan, I suppose).

minn0315 Posted March 6, 2015 #29 Share Posted March 6, 2015 We arrived at IAH a day before our cruise, about 6 weeks ago. We stayed overnight at the Airport Marriott which is connected via underground train/tram. The next morning we took the train/tram back to the baggage claim area and met the RCI representatives at the flag festooned desk. They checked us in and we took the RCI motor coach to Galveston. It is safe, dependable, and very, very comfortable with airline-style seats, rather than a bench seat on super shuttle. They also offer free WiFi on the trip. Easy, peesy... You are guaranteed to get to the ship on time and the cost (with all the amenities) is equal or better than many mentioned.

Were there different times you could grab the motor coach or did they leave when bus was full? It has been many years since taking motor coach to port and since that one time, never did it again, but this will be our first time sailing out of Galveston.
