Hello, we will be on EPIC, Rome to Rome, Oct 28, 2015. Does anyone have experience with self disembarking in Rome? We did this on a RCCL cruise in Seattle last summer, and it was great, wondering if NCL offers the same.

thank you!

I did this in October 2013. Since 90% of the people will board in Barcelona, it was super easy to get on/off in Rome. There were no lines when we got there to check in. We carried our bags off the boat and were off in no time. The only weird thing about doing this is you can't make reservations after Barcelona because the NCL system counts that as a new cruise. So I couldn't make reservations and my excursions for Naples didn't show up until Sunday. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind. Overall, it was a great experience. You should have a great time.
