PKJenn Posted March 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2015 We will be on the Carnival Glory in a couple of weeks. Traveling with three children 7, 6, and 3. I was interested in Playa Mia. It isn't offered on our ship as an excursion, but I did find it online. Has anyone bought tickets through their website and is it easy to get to their meeting place from where our ship will dock. I know that their are two spots where the ships dock in Cozumel. Also do they mail your tickets or do you print them off online?
OGtripleOG37 Posted March 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2015 We just asked the taxi to take us to Playa Mia the day we arrived and paid at the gate. $20 for 5 of us to get there.
RobinKY Posted March 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2015 We just took a cab to Playa Mia and paid admission at the gate. Probably a little cheaper thru the cruise line b/c I think our taxi driver gouged us a little. The benefit was we got to stay later than the excursion groups. They do take credit cards but you'll have to pay foreign fees.
sara mom Posted March 6, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2015 We bought our tickets through Shore Excursioner. We had the email printout with us when we arrived and paid the balance. When we got of the ship, we went to a taxi stand and just had to say "Playa Mia". It cost $20 for the fare. Pics from our day can be found at.... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2175819&page=2&highlight=vision
Rare mitsugirly Posted March 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2015 It's super easy to do. Exit the port, tell the cab where you want to go and they'll take you there. No need for a ship excursion for this. I have a complete review of our day there with TONS of pictures in my signature line if you are interested or have any questions after that. :)
NorthGaCruzers Posted March 8, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 8, 2015 Walk out of the port and across the street to the Playa Mia office. Pay there and they will put you in a cab to playa mia and cover the return trip as well.
