lennel Posted March 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2015 We were on the Divina in October and loved everything the food. shows and the workers. We loved it so much we booked 2 more cruises this summer on the musica and magnifica leaving venice and going to different ports throughout the med. Just wanted to know are the shows all the same on MSC or does each ship do different shows? and are the menus somewhat different or the same. Thanks
AmoMondo Posted March 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Shows are different on each ship but they rotate them around, so there is a possibility that you will see one again that you saw on the Divina. The menus will more or less identical on Musica and Magnifica. The basically feature different Italian regions each night. It will be different from the Divina, there won't be a Stars and Stripes side and all the other things they change for the US passengers will pretty much be absent. They will give you vouchers for a bottle of water to use at dinner each night. There won't be pitchers of iced water readily available as or Iced Tea. On those cruises it is Italians they are catering for and US passengers will be in a small minority.
lennel Posted March 4, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted March 4, 2015 are the shows in english?
AmoMondo Posted March 5, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 5, 2015 are the shows in english? No, they aren't in any language. They have too many languages spoken by passengers onboard so the shows never depend on language. They are visual and musical, so all can enjoy. houstoncruisers2001 Posted March 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2015 The opera wasn't in English. Their shows were pretty darn good. Even went to the opera show in the middle of a sea day and totally enjoyed it.
riclop Posted March 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 13, 2015 Shows are the best at sea on the Divina and they do vary by ship.

On our recent ex Venice to Genoa cruise we noticed an "Americanisation" to the food. We enjoyed the food on this cruise much less than before and found that there were burgers and fries and hot dogs in the buffet which we had only seen on the US and Caribbean cruises we had done. the fries were even served in little boxes and the burgers in paper wrappings :(
