Coralc Posted June 18, 2015 #276 Share Posted June 18, 2015 I ordered a bunch of these and they were delivered promptly: http://www.specialistid.com/Clear_Cruise_Tag_Badge_Holder_3_3_8_X_6_1_4_p/306-357.htm Then we either just use zip ties or some metal cable ties that I purchased somewhere else. :)
CruiseMore1 Posted June 18, 2015 #277 Share Posted June 18, 2015 In all sincerity can someone tell me if the following is what you use for luggage tags now? http://www.amazon.com/Cruise-Luggage-Holders-Caribbean-Celebrity/dp/B00M5MDAS0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1434563938&sr=8-2&keywords=cruise+luggage+tags Or what other ideas/options are there for attaching luggage tags? The paper would be far too flimsy? Clear package tape and a stapler? Personally luggage has been lost twice not fun! Thanks in advance, Patty Yep, that is exactly what we are using! Ocean Boy Posted June 18, 2015 #279 Share Posted June 18, 2015 It's been a few years since I've cruised, but am I the only one that just gets the tags at the pier? I could care less what they look like or are made of. No you are not the only one. I neither care what the are made of or look like nor am I into arts and crafts. Marie51 Posted June 18, 2015 #280 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Certainly there are more important things in this world than worrying about luggage tags. It is not at all difficult to print them at home and only takes a minute. I cover mine with clear packing tape for reinforcement but this is not necessary. Or just get them from the porter at the pier.

Lots of us come here to get a temporary reprieve from the worries of the world (I sure do). People come to the threads to talk about things cruise-related, and for some, luggage tags matter. Even if there are 4,000 previous threads on it, it's ok.

A mini escape sometimes with lots of laughs, lots of info, and sometimes great ship visuals. Oh and some new friends[emoji267][emoji485]

I got some before this last cruise. It definitely keeps the printed luggage tags in good shape. I would much rather print my luggage tags than have to worry about having the line send them to me. That way if I wanted to print 20 of them I could. (Not that I would ever need 20 luggage tags. LOL)
