Dolphins - Blue Lagoon

Any review on the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon. Specifically the Encounter, not the swim.

My kids are 7&8 and not the best swimmers so I don't feel comfortable taking them for a dolphin swim, but do want them to see and touch dolphins. It'll be an awesome surprise.

Thanks!

Absolutely fabulous. We've done the Dolphin and manatee encounters at the Blue Lagoon. Both were trip highlights. Check out the Bahamas forum in the Ports of Call section. A quick search will give you lots of reviews and comparisons with the other available vendors.

I don't know if you have read the three reviews regarding that excursion on ncl.com? You find a link to the reviews on the right side of the web page.

We have booked a Blue Lagoon beach day through the ship. Would we be able to change or simply pay more for a dolphin encounter when we get there if they watch others and decide it is something they might like to do?

I know just going to Blue Lagoon for the Beach Day we could get really close to the dolphins and the sea lions. There is a sales office, so I think you could add on the Encounter if your kids wanted it. The dolphins put on quite a show! Even laying on the beach I could see them jumping and when you are waiting to board the water taxi back to the port, the dolphins are out being their friendly fun selves! :p
