JohnandKatr Posted March 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2015 Thinking about going on this bar hop bus tour. We'll be on Carnival. About how far a ride is it before arriving at first bar? And then, how far a ride is it between each story? And finally, how long a ride to return to port? Thanks!!!!
hockeygal54 Posted March 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2015 It's about 15-20" to the first and IMO BEST stop. The other 3 are pretty close together. On the return the first drop point is the Carnival/Princess pier Puerta Maya. To get a better idea, go to their web site and find the "route" link. It has a map. mrsfuzzmo Posted March 26, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2015 Yes, maybe 20 minutes or so across the island from town over to the east side. From there each place is only 5-10 minute drive from the next. From the last bar (Rastas) to the Puerto Maya Pier is about 20 minutes. Its a really easy day, drive wise. So much fun. We were sad when it was time to head back, but pleasantly surprised as to the short drive back. Loved this tour!
Luvoceans Posted March 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Just curious if you do the bar hop , do you still have time to go to the beach ? Has anyone tried it ?

That would depend on how long your ship is in port and what other ships are in on the same day, which determines what hours the Hop actually runs. It is not set hours every day. You would need to check with Tom when it would be running the day you are in port and then calculate accordingly. I will add that with the heat we were ready for a rest when we got back but YMMV.
