rickcherryb Posted April 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Does anyone know the amount of non-alcohol drinks actually allowed during embarkation? There is a discrepancy between the website guidelines and the documents I printed out for the cruise? Thanks

kdawg954 Posted April 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Not sure I've ever seen them count "non alcoholic" beverages to be honest. I mean don't show up with a dolly full of beverages but you should be fine. Anyways, for 2 people, going by the rules, that is 24 beverages you can bring. We'll use the example of a 7 night cruise with 4 port stops: We will probably bring 12 bottles of water (8 for the port stops and 4 just to have in the room for late night, take vitamins, etc.) The other 12 will be a mix of soda, juice, gatorade, red bull and/or other mixers. The water and lemonade/tea are solid beverages during the cruise.
day-day Posted April 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Water on the ship is fine for us. We bring cokes on board at embarkation but 12 per person is not enough for a 7-day cruise. If we want bottled water, we will save an empty coke bottle and fill it from the tap. We have purchased cokes in ports and brought them on board. We have brought 1- or 2-liter size beverages onboard at a port-of-call.
