There are a few lesbians here! :) My wife and I went on the Christmas cruise on Grandeur of the Seas and it was great!

We are going on a transatlantic cruise in May and a 7 night Baltic cruise in August.

We're here too! My wife and I will be going on our 5th cruise (4th on Princess) this fall- Coral Princess Wine Country Coastal. We've had hit and miss experiences with on-board LGBT meet and greets, hoping the next one will be as good as our last- met up several times on the cruise. The other cruises, not so much- a few we met one time, a few we were the only ones... :(

My partner and I are also here [emoji2], 9 cruises with Royal and our 10th one coming up in May - Barcelona to Dubai on Ovation, followed by Harmony Transatlantic in October/ November.

Also have never done a woman's only cruise, but options are a bit limited when travelling from the UK!

Hi Rick!

Is it your first time to be here? And what sort of interest? 2 Days generally will be to explore the tourist places in the city and surroundings. If up to gay activities visit Oxford St for it.

It is our first time. We are staying near the Rocks, so we plan to see the Oper House, take a harbor dinner cruise and a day trip to blue mountains. Will look for Oxford Street.

Thanks for your input. We are very excited about this trip.

More girls here! I went on a trip of a lifetime with my Girlfriend over New Years on Allure of the Seas. We saw a handful of other same sex couples, no issues, lots of fun. We are going on Celebrity Equinox in June, love cruising. Does anyone know what to do in Mykonos? Will be there for my birthday. :p

I'm a single young professional (32) and I LOVE cruising! Been on 3 voyages in the past 18 months since I discovered how pleasuarable a vacation it is.

Trouble is, only been away with my mother which is not exactly cool. :p

I really need to find a like-minded young man to plan some trips with. :D

Hi Everyone-

I'm Nikki and my wife and I definitely have the travel bug. Outside of other vacations we cruise at least once a year. We have met some really cool people on each cruise (LGBT and Hetero) and kept in touch with them all. We have never had any issues then again I don't think we would notice, we are in vacation mode ...lol.

We have thought about a "women's only" cruise but we can do two cruise for the price of one so it hasn't happened yet. We normally cruise during the off season for various reasons. This year however I was awarded a free cruise from the casino and it's during spring break, this is also my wife's busy time at work. So me and my BFF (who is single) will be joining me. I'm hoping to find her a wife ...lol. Then in June we have a family cruise planned with my side of the family, should be fun.

Now we are just wondering if we can swing a third cruise in there on the new Vista.

Anywho...pleasure to meet you all and Happy Cruising!!!

Hey all,

I'm Dana NYC born & raised. My wife (16 years together) and I got hooked on cruising with our first sailing in 2004. Although our second sailing wasn't until 5 years later in 09', we've been sailing steady ever since with one or two sailings a year. We love cruising so much that we were married on the Norwegian Jewel in 2011 (my review is in my signature).

In the last few years we've really been enjoying trying out the newer and bigger ships. It all started on the inaugural sailing of the Breakaway from NYC to Bermuda and since then we've done Allure, Breeze, Quantum and Oasis. With 12 sailings since our addiction started we've already got #13 & #14 booked, Escape (June 11) & Vista (Nov. 27).

Another sub part of this addiction for me has been group cruising. With our wedding cruise where we had 12 of our family and friends (out of 50 guest) also cruise with us for the week, I have really enjoyed cruising with family and friends. From this came addiction number 2 which is hosting family & friends cruises. We've hosted five of them since our wedding in 2011 with our biggest group being 27 guest :D. In the works for our next family and friends sailing will be Harmony of the Seas. The summer 2017 dates haven't been released yet so here I wait patiently .

Lastly, cruising has been really great in building connections and friendships with others in the midst of all this technology and social media. My wife and I have made friends with some of the most amazing and nicest folks from all over the world. So much so that we've reunion-ed with a few on sailings, visited their homes and showed them around NYC if they happen to visit here. Sometimes I wish the whole world could be as nice as those I've met on sailings regardless of color, race and socioeconomics.

From addict to pusher....

.... I think I really love this cruising thing lol.

Basically, you two just seem like the most fun ever. I love cruising because of meeting new people, and I can only hope one day to meet you both on a future cruise. I know we'd have a blast! :D

Happy sailing, y'all~

We're just two semi old biddies (mid 40s) who don't tend to take people and their issues to seriously as we try to be good citizens, love our fellow man (women and child), while working hard to enjoy life!

Oh yeah, and I'm a little nuts so I appreciate you seeing through that and leaving us some kind words! [emoji12]

So when is your next cruise? Any others booked after that?

Heading out on the Getaway in 1.5 weeks! Can't wait! Then going to Alaska for the first time on the Pearl the first week of June!

Things get a little crazy for me starting in July, so not sure about the future yet, but can't wait to plan the next one!

PS Also a big fan of the megaships!

Your so close I'm smelling the ocean for you! We're 87 days out, not that I'm keeping track or anything but I just did the dining and entertainment booking dance 3 days ago [emoji2] .

I've heard that every cruiser should do an Alaskan sailing at least. From what I've heard your in for some amazing sights. I have to really get my speel and good loving going to get my wife on an Alaskan cruise. She's hears 'Alaska' and shivers. She hates anything even remotely related to cold. So I've got my eye on an Hawaiian cruise for 2020. We'll be celebrating 20 years together.

Which of the mega ships have been your favorite thus far?

It looks like it has be a while since any posting here but thought I'd take a chance. My husband and I are cruising on the MSC Divina 6/4-6/11 and curious if there are other LGBT cruisers. This will be our second time on the Divina, 4th time cruising as a gay couple. While most people are accepting, sometimes it can be a little uncomfortable when dining. I did not see a separate LGBT roll-call as someone previously mentioned.

Have a great time. . I don't cruise again until the Melissa Etheridge cruise out of Tampa . . end of October. We had a great Friends of Dorothy group this March on the Gem.

Anne

Thanks Anne. I know we will. I find cruising so relaxing just sitting and watching the water and horizon. I wanted to try Norwegian out of Tampa but they don't cruise in the summer and we were READY for a vacation. Maybe next cruise.
