PalmTreeBound Posted April 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2015 scmona - I'll be on that Alaska cruise! Now to brag - I booked that cruise with a casino special. It was $100 plus $100 onboard credit. I couldn't pass it up even though I never particularly wanted to go to Alaska. Everybody I've talked with who has been there has said how wonderful and beautiful it is. Now I'll see for myself. Another brag. My family wanted to do a family cruise. We're doing that in October to the Caribbean. On my bucket list is to do a back-to-back. So, I'm going to be on the same ship the week before. Singer4Him Posted April 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2015 We booked our sixth cruise today! WooHoo!!! We will be sailing in November aboard the Carnival Dream. We're going this time with some of our closest friends who have never cruised before. They've heard us talk about it so long that they've decided to bite the bullet and go with us. We are so excited!!
Rare sprint180 Posted April 11, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2015 I will go to the Baltics in 13 mos. 21 days and 22 hours. I is so hard to be excited because I can't talk to anyone about it. If you mention it at work I get the "must be nice" attitude. or "I sure would like to go on a vacation" So I'll scream it here.!!!!

We are so excited!! which week? We're looking and leaning towards carnival dream in nov. if we do, it'll be our first suite! and STILL less than we paid for our crappy RCL cruise. So really, it can only be an improvement, right? We were looking at other lines, because we have a kid, but really, we enjoy carnval BEFORE kid, so let's give it a try. I booked our trip to the Baltics last year for this year (June 2015). I can't talk about it at work either because it does come across as boasting, all the travel DH & I do. Consider a blog or a web site. You can "Chat" about your upcoming trip(s) all you want, and if someone is interested they can read/view photos, and if not no worries. I started mine about 5/6 months ago, and I fine it allows me to express myself and I don't feel the urge to talk about it so much.
sillychicky Posted April 12, 2015 #15 Share Posted April 12, 2015 We sailed Victory to Grand Turk/Half Moon Cay/Nassau in January and it was amazing. First Caribbean cruise since we're from CA. May 16th (35 days to go) I'm sailing on Freedom with my best friend, no kids, no husband! Talk about Freedom! We're doing the Western Caribbean (Belize, Isla Roatan Honduras and Cozumel) and I'm super excited about that. Then June 30th my husband and I will sail the Legend to Alaska, our first cold-weather cruise. He's more excited than I am but I'll get there! I wish I could win the lotto so I could just sail all the time! I love hearing about other people's travel. I'm shooting for Platinum before I hit 40 years old! Greselda Posted April 12, 2015 #16 Share Posted April 12, 2015 What a great thread! Yep, we will be on the Miracle out of Long Beach, CA in a week and a half on the 25th....cannot wait. Then we did the unthinkable:eek: We booked the Magic out of Galveston, TX for our anniversary in October 2015....yippee! We had to wait for almost 2 years due to medical reasons to resume cruising, but got the all clear in December and we are "off to the races":D

ScottsSweetie Posted April 12, 2015 #18 Share Posted April 12, 2015 We will be on the Magic on May 10. We are taking an old-fashioned road trip, spending a little time in New Orleans on the way there (special request from the 19 year old twin boys). First time our boys will be on anything other than a Fantasy class ship - can't wait to see their faces! :)
