This is our first River Cruise.

We are going on the Viking City of Lights cruise.

- Prague May 6th - 9th

- Embark on May 9th in Nurenberg

- Disembark Trier on May 16

- May 17th - 21 in Paris

This is our first trip to Europe. What will the weather be like? I have google and looked at historical data, but that stuff is NOT always accurate.

Any help and wisdom from seasoned European Travelers would be MUCH appreciated!!

Thank you advance!!

It can vary from year to year. But we were in Normandy and Paris for 2 weeks late May of last year. The weather was cool and drizzly. You definitely needed a light jacket almost every day and a raincoat or umbrella handy. If the sun had been out more it would have been much better. Temps were 50's and 60's. We will be doing the Rhine from Amsterdam to Basel in late May this year and I am taking layers and plan to be prepared for the same type of weather. You may have still colder temps in Prague. We were there in mid September 2 years ago and it was much colder than I expected.
